ANALISIS KUALITAS PELAYANAN DITINJAU DARI ASPEK TENAGA KEPERAWATAN DI RUMAH SAKIT NENE’ MALLOMO KABUPATEN SIDRAP PROPINSI SULAWESI SELATAN

Pelayanan kesehatan berkualitas merupakan syarat mutlak yang harus dipenuhi mengingat perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi akan mempengaruhi perkembangan pola pikir dan permintaan masyarakat akan pelayanan yang lebih

berkualitas dan peran tenaga kesehatan merupakan aspek yang memberi sumbangsi lebih terhadap perwujudan kualitas tersebut. Kualitas pelayanan dipengaruhi oleh beberapa dimensi yang pada penelitian ini mencakup tangibles (jumlah petugas), reliability (kehandalan petugas), responsivennes (ketanggapan petugas), assurances (jaminan petugas) dan empathy petugas.

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian observasional dengan rancangan Cross Sectional Study. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah pasien rawat inap RS Nene’ Mallomo Kabupaten Sidrap pada bulan Mei 2007. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi Square Test dengan memperhitungkan nilai probabilitas (p value) yang dibandingkan dengan nilai alpha (α = 0,05).

Hasil penelitian bahwa terdapat hubungan jumlah petugas, ketanggapan, kehandalan, jaminan dan empathy petugas dengan perwujudan kualitas pelayanan di rumah sakit dimana semakin baik dimensi tersebut akan menunjukkan peningkatan kualitas pelayanan yang memenuhi kebutuhan dan kepuasan pasien. Dalam rangka menunjang  pelayanan kesehatan secara efektif dan efisien, pada instansi pelayanan kesehatan harus memperhitungkan aspek jumlah ketenagaan yang disesuaikan dengan jumlah pengunjung, keterampilan ditingkatkan baik melalui pendidikan lanjutan maupun pelatihan sehingga menunjang aspek kehandalan dan ketanggapan dalam memberikan pelayanan, bagi tenaga perawat untuk dapat menciptakan suasana kondusif dan memiliki kemampuan dalam membina hubungan komunikasi dengan masyarakat.
