PATIENT PERCEPTIONS OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF HEALTH CARE IN HOSPITAL INPATIENT HIKMAH MAKASSAR CITY
Hospital as a health institution responsible for carrying out health care for patients who seek treatment in hospitals that are individually capable of performing its duties as effectively as possible, so that hospitals should consider the effectiveness of care provided to patients because the effectiveness of a moral responsibility which is owned by the hospital of the results achieved and the impact of services provided to the public as users of health services in hospitals.
That services provided to patients could take place as effectively as possible, then the hospital must consider the ability of workers in the work and it is influenced by individual characteristics inherent in the officer's own which is a potential that has the talent, knowledge and skills (skills).
Research conducted at the Hospital of Makassar with the wisdom to know the description of the purpose of service effectiveness in terms of aspects of the discipline officer, officer skills, and the number of officers.
This type of study is a descriptive survey design, the number of samples taken at 78 sampling purpossive. The research data obtained through direct interviews with the respondents and then processed using computer-assisted program SPSS version 13.0.
The study found that the effectiveness of the services to be held at the adequate category (92.5%), with quite a discipline officers (74.4%), sufficient staff skills (91.0%) and an adequate number of staff (76.9%) .
The suggestions put forward by the results of the study was the need for the development of human resource management, improved compensation, career development and increase the number of health workers in hospitals in order to create effective service to consumers.
PERSEPSI PASIEN TERHADAP EFEKTIVITAS PELAYANAN KESEHATAN PADA BAGIAN RAWAT INAP DI RUMAH SAKIT HIKMAH KOTA MAKASSAR
Rumah sakit sebagai institusi kesehatan bertanggung jawab melaksanakan pelayanan kesehatan bagi penderita yang berobat di rumah sakit yang sifatnya individual mampu menjalankan tugasnya seefektif mungkin, sehingga rumah sakit harus memperhatikan efektivitas pelayanan yang diberikan kepada pasien sebab efektivitas merupakan tanggung jawab moral yang dimiliki oleh rumah sakit terhadap hasil yang dicapai serta dampak dari pelayanan yang diberikan kepada masyarakat sebagai pengguna jasa pelayanan kesehatan di rumah sakit. Agar pelayanan yang diberikan kepada pasien dapat berlangsung seefektif mungkin maka pihak rumah sakit harus memperhatikan kemampuan petugas dalam bekerja dan hal ini dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik individual yang melekat pada petugas itu sendiri yang merupakan suatu potensi yang dimilikinya adalah bakat, pengetahuan dan keterampilan (skill).
Penelitian dilaksanakan di Rumah Sakit hikmah Kota Makassar dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran efektivitas pelayanan ditinjau dari aspek disiplin petugas, keterampilan petugas, dan jumlah petugas.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan rancangan deskriptif, jumlah sampel 78 yang diambil secara purpossive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara langsung dengan responden kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan bantuan komputer program SPSS versi 13.0.
Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa efektivitas pelayanan yang diselenggarakan berada pada kategori cukup (92,5%), dengan disiplin petugas cukup (74,4%), keterampilan petugas cukup (91,0%) dan jumlah petugas yang memadai (76,9%).
Saran-saran yang diajukan berdasarkan hasil penelitian adalah perlunya pengembangan manajemen sumber daya manusia, peningkatan pemberian kompensasi, pengembangan karier dan penambahan jumlah petugas kesehatan di rumah sakit agar menciptakan efektivitas pelayanan kepada konsumen.
