Type used was an observational research with cross sectional study aimed to analyze the relationship between breastfeeding and complementary breastfeeding on the incidence of diarrhea in infants aged 6-24 months in the working area of the Horn of District Health Center Laan Rantepao Toraja Regency North. The samples were children aged 6-24 months as the unit of analysis by the research respondents were mothers of 32 people. Data collection using questionnaires, processed using a computer, the analysis using Chi square test and are presented in table form.

The results showed that 37.5 percent children under five in the Horn Laan Puskesmas are still suffering from diarrhea, 43.8 percent baita mempeorleh not properly breastfed, 46.9 percent of toddlers are not getting the MP-ASI is good and sufficient, no relationship of breastfeeding and MP-ASI with diarrhea that is complementary breastfeeding and breast milk is not good to contribute to the occurrence of diarrhea in infants.

Suggestions put forward the need to increase early awareness of the incidence of diarrhea, increased knowledge of mothers about the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding, feeding the child the rules of MP-ASI is good and right, improving the quality and quantity of health personnel, especially midwives and nutrition staff in health centers and for further research to improve the quality of research variable by including other variables associated with occurrence of diarrhea in infants
