HUBUNGAN POLA PENGASUHAN DENGAN STATUS GIZI ANAK USIA 6 – 24 BULAN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS MACCINI SAWAH KECAMATAN MAKASSAR KOTA MAKASSAR

(PARENTING RELATIONSHIP PATTERNS WITH NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF CHILDREN AGES 6-24 MONTHS IN THE WORK AREA DISTRICT RICE PUSKESMAS Maccini MAKASSAR MAKASSAR CITY)

Parenting is a series of activities to implement the guidance, direction and fulfillment needs of the child in order to meet the needs of exclusive breastfeeding, MP-ASI and maintenance actions. No implementation of exclusive breastfeeding at age <6 months, giving MP-ASI is wrong and not the implementation of child care is good and right will affect the nutritional status of children.

The research objective was to analyze the relationship of exclusive breastfeeding, breastfeeding and complementary provision of care with nutritional status of children aged 6-24 months. This type of observational study is to approach the Cross Sectional Study of research by reviewing the dependent and independent variables at the same time. Amount of the sample group of 65 children who are determined based on a sample size determination formulas are proportional random sampling. The results showed that there is a relation of exclusive breastfeeding (X2 = 13.463 count), MP-ASI (X2 = 16.510 count) and child care (X2 = 12.225 count) with the nutritional status of children aged 6-24 months in the work area Maccini Wetland Health Center. The suggestions in the study was the need to provide information to mothers about the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding, including the exact timing of which must be given before the birth of a baby to support the PP-ASI program, then the pattern of information provision is supported by MP-ASI is good and right so as to support compliance requirements for optimal growth and development of children and mothers to be dihrapkan to carry out maintenance action is good and right so as to inculcate healthy and clean living behavior from an early age to the child.

Pola pengasuhan merupakan suatu rentetan kegiatan untuk melaksanakan bimbingan, arahan dan pemenuhan kebutuhan kepada anak dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhannya berupa pemberian ASI eksklusif, MP-ASI dan tindakan perawatan. Tidak dilaksanakannya pemberian ASI eksklusif pada usia < 6 bulan, pemberian MP-ASI yang salah dan tidak terlaksananya perawatan anak yang baik dan benar akan mempengaruhi status gizi anak. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan pemberian ASI eksklusif, pemberian MP-ASI dan perawatan dengan status gizi anak usia 6 – 24 bulan. Jenis penelitian adalah observasional dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional Study yaitu penelitian dengan meninjau variabel dependen dan independen pada waktu yang bersamaan. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 65 anak yang ditentukan berdasarkan rumus penentuan besar sampel secara proportional random sampling.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan pemberian ASI eksklusif (X2 hitung = 13,463), MP-ASI (X2 hitung = 16,510) dan perawatan anak (X2 hitung = 12,225) dengan status gizi anak usia 6 – 24 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Maccini Sawah. Saran yang diajukan pada penelitian adalah perlunya pemberian informasi kepada ibu tentang manfaat pemberian ASI eksklusif termasuk waktu pemberian yang tepat yang harus diberikan sebelum kelahiran bayi untuk mendukung program PP-ASI, kemudian ditunjang dengan informasi pola pemberian MP-ASI yang baik dan benar sehingga dapat menunjang pemenuhan kebutuhan anak untuk tumbuh kembang optimal dan dihrapkan kepada ibu untuk dapat melaksanakan tindakan perawatan yang baik dan benar sehingga dapat menanamkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat sejak dini kepada anak.
